🔌🏠 V2LPower – Car-to-Home package (for external V2L adapter 5 kW) ⚡
⚠️ Important: This Car-to-Home package requires that you have already purchased our external V2L adapter / 5 kW inverter (purchased separately).
The package here is integration package, which connects your external adapter to the house's Car-to-House solution via your solar inverter.

Car → House (without factory V2L)

This solution is for you who want to be able to use the electric car's battery as an energy source for the house – even if the car does not have factory V2L.
Instead of the car's built-in V2L via Type 2, the setup relies on your external V2L adapter (5 kW):
  • The adapter delivers 230V pure sine output on Schuko
  • We take it further to blue CEE via a professional adapter cable
  • The power is fed in via the wall socket and on to your Car-to-Home integration (via the solar inverter's existing installation)

⚡ Power in Car‑to‑Home (net to inverter)

The external V2L adapter can deliver up to 5,000 W, but in a Car-to-Home setup, what is decisive is what can be delivered stably and continuously into the solar inverter.
Therefore, our V2L Power converter at the solar inverter optimized to deliver approx. 3,600 W stable net power to the inverter.
This provides stable operation and is in practice the “sweet spot” for Car-to-Home integration.
In short:
  • External V2L adapter: up to 5,000 W (source capacity)
  • V2L Power converter by inverter: ~3,600 W net (stable Car-to-Home operation)

🛡️ Safe and stable operation

The system is designed for stable operation and long life with built-in protection, including:
  • Overload protection
  • Short circuit protection
  • Temperature protection
  • Undervoltage control

Mounting / placement

📏 The inverter must be mounted indoors 56 cm range of the solar inverter.
It should be placed indoors or outdoors in a protected environment with rainproofness and good ventilation – for example in an outdoor rack cabinet.
🧲 The inverter has magnets for easy attachment to metal surfaces (e.g. shelf/rack/home battery).
