With V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) and the right equipment, you can transfer power between two cars \u2013 quickly, easily and safely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is relevant in many situations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A friend or colleague has run out of power<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You want to share power at a parking lot or campsite<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You need emergency charging far from a charging station<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You want to help another electric car owner in an emergency situation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How it works<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The principle is simple:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Connect the V2L connector in the car that will supply power<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Connect the charger between the two cars<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select charging power via the button on the charger \u2013 choose between\u00a0<strong>8A, 10A, 13A or 16A<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The charger automatically remembers your setting for next time<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The car that supplies power must support <strong>The V2L standard<\/strong>. The car receiving power simply needs to be able to charge via Type 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important restrictions per car brand<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not all cars can deliver the same amount of power via V2L. Here are the most important ones:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">BYD (Dolphin, Seal, Seal U, Sealion 7)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Max V2L output:\u00a0<strong>15A<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recommended setting:\u00a0<strong>13A<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u26a0\ufe0f Do not set the charger to 16A \u2013 this may restart the car&#039;s V2L signal due to safety feature<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hyundai IONIQ 5 &amp; Kia EV6<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Max V2L output:\u00a0<strong>16A<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recommended setting:\u00a0<strong>16A<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other car brands<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Always check your car&#039;s manual for the maximum V2L output power before selecting the amperage setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your car doesn&#039;t have V2L from the factory?
